A new phenomenon: Koogle

Kanye West is definitely making a name for himself online with his website: http://www.searchwithkanyewest.com/.

The music artist has hit a different market by launching a search engine that is powered by Google and Ask. The search engine is named Search With Kanye West. What makes this search engine different from others? Swag Bucks. He has created digital money for users to redeem prizes such as iPhones, Macbooks, Amazon giftcards, Kanye West merchandise and other goodies. Too good to be true? West has established some ground rules in order to take advantage of Swag Bucks.

His tips for Swag Bucks:
1.) Set the search engine as your home page.
2.) Install the Kanye West toolbar or plugins.
3.) Tell your friends about the search engine.
4.) Submit a photo of yourself with the prize you've won.

Is this senseless self-promotion? Possibly. West is a hit-making producer, Grammy-winning artist, and brilliant self-promoter. He has found a way to connect with his fans. Not only are West's fans able to utilize the web but win prizes for doing so.

It doesn't get any better. Kanye West is growing a stronger fan base. Swag Bucks, anyone?
